10.00 a.m. . .. Squadron enters Sydney Harbour.

Launch " Premier ' conveys Premier, State Ministers, President of the Legislative Council, and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and their wives, towards the Heads to meet the Squadron.

S.S. "Lady Carrington" conveys Members of Parliament and their wives towards the Heads to meet the Squadron, afterwards steaming round the anchored Fleet.

S.S. "Burra Bra" conveys Federal guests to view the arrival.

S.S. Bingarra" and s.s. " Koompartoo " convey State guests to view the arrival.

Additional Federal and State guests view the arrival from Hornby Light and Military Reserves, South Head.

H.M.S. "Hood" anchors off Kirribilli Point.

H.M.S. " Repulse" anchors in Athol Bight. Two light cruisers anchor in line between.

H.M.S. "Delhi " secures to No. 2 buoy, Macquarie Point; two light cruisers east of Garden Island secure to No.9 and No. 12 buoys respectively.

11.15...... Admiral Sir Frederick L. Field, K.C.B., C.M.G., lands at Man-o'-War Steps. Salute by No. I Battery, R.A.F.A. 'Guard of Honour by 53rd Batt. and Band, Citizen Forces.

Noon..... Admiral pays official call on His Excellency the Governor at Government House, then on the Premier, Base Commandant, and the Lord Mayor.

Afternoon.


3.0 p.m.  ... 1,500 Officers and Men land at Woolloomooloo Bay; march
through City via Lincoln-crescent, Palmer-street Gates, Outer Domain, St. Mary's Cathedral Gate; thence by Macquarie (Saluting Base at Mitchell Library), Bridge, Pitt streets, Martin Place, George, Bathurst, Elizabeth, and Park streets to Haig-avenue, Sir John Young's Crescent and Lincoln Crescent to Woolloomooloo Bay. Refreshments will be served after the march.

EASTER SUNDAY, 20th April.


Battle Cruisers, H.M.S. " Hood" and H.M.S. "Repulse" depart Sydney for New Zealand.


THURSDAY, 24th April.


The Light Cruiser Division of the Special Service Squadron arrives from Brisbane and departs for New Zealand on Saturday, 26th April.

At the request of the Vice-Admiral commanding Special Service Squadron no allocations have been made for these dates.

GENERAL.

MEN in uniform are invited to avail themselves of the following free privileges during the Squadron Visit to Sydney

I. The Taronga Park Zoological Gardens. Open daily, Sunday included. By the courtesy of the Zoological Society of New South Wales.

2. The Royal Agricultural Society's Show, Moore Park, on April 14th to 19th, inclusive. Open day and night. By the courtesy of the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales.

3. Electric Tramways. By the courtesy of the Commissioners for the New South Wales Government Railways and Tramways, free travel has been accorded. The following Tramway Excursions are recommended-La Perouse, Coogee, Bondi, Watson's Bay, Ryde, Manly to Narrabeen, Milson's Point to Chats-wood (returning via Gladesville), Cremorne or Mosman to Manly.

4. Suburban Railway Area. By courtesy of the Commissioners for the New South Wales Government Railways and Tram-ways, free travel has been accorded. The following Rail and Tram Trips are recommended - Hawkesbury River Round Trip, National Park and Cronulla, Parramatta (returning via River), Penrith, Windsor. Particulars of many others obtainable at Information Bureau.

5. Sydney Ferry Steamers. By the courtesy of the Sydney Ferry Company, free travel has been accorded. The following trips are recommended-Sydney to Parramatta River, Lane Cove River, Cremorne, Zoological Gardens (Taronga Park), Clifton Gardens, Balmoral, Middle Harbour, Watson's Bay. Excursions may be made to innumerable beauty spots round Sydney Harbour by these steamers and those of the Manly Ferry Co., returning by interchange of ferry routes or by tramway.

6. Manly Ferry Steamers. By the courtesy of the Port Jackson and Manly S.S. Co. free travel has been accorded. The following trips are recommended - Manly, returning Spit trams to Mosman, Cremoine, &c.; Manly, thence tram to all beaches to Narrabeen; Motor 'bus to Newport, Broken Bay.

7. All Picture Theatres are open for admission without ticket during the day. At night, admission free by pass (only), obtainable on board all ships of the Squadron. Special Picture, "Battle of Jutland," Haymarket Theatre, 12th April.

8. Admission to Theatres (Drama, Musical Comedy, and Vaudeville) will be granted on presentation of special pass (only), obtainable on board all ships of the Squadron.

9. The Centennial Park Roller Rink, Bondi Junction (Waverley, Bondi, Bronte trams), offers free admission.

Many of the large manufacturing firms have invited parties from the Squadron to view their works Parties may be arranged at the Official Bureau.

Y.M.C.A., 325 Pitt-street, invites men in uniform to accept membership during their stay. Recreation and rest rooms; writing rooms (materials and stamps free); four billiard tables free; free light meals; entertainment, Gospel talks, &O~~ every evening; special programme for Sailors; Palm Sunday, 13th April, at Sydney Town Hall.

The Y.M.C.A. is endeavouring to arrange with citizens for free accommodation for Sailors for each evening. Apply at their office or Red Triangle Hut.

Y.M.C.A. Red Triangle Hut adjoins the Official Information Bureau, Circular Quay East, at the Orient Co.'s Wharf.

Royal Naval House is situated in Grosvenor street (George-street tram to Grosvenor street). Has free sleeping accommodation for 8oo men each night.

Rawson Institute for Seamen, George-street, near Circular Quay, is a mercantile marine institution, but offers welcome to men of the Squadron. Recreation rooms, cheap light meals, entertainment every evening. No sleeping accommodation.

The New South Wales Government Tourist Bureau, Challis House (opposite the G.P.O.), Marti~ Place, will afford fullest information about trips round Sydney
where to go; how to make the best use of privileges in the time; maps, descriptive literature, leaflets, &c., free. Tel. City 4945

The New South Wales Police Force has been made acquainted with all the plans to entertain the Squadron. Every Constable will gladly afford information and assistance, especially as to travelling directions.
