Text of the above news clipping for Eric H. Pearce: WEST RIDING MEN IN SUNK WARSHIPS Among Yorkshiremen believed to have been in the Repulse are Engine-room Artificer Morris Bateson, aged 27, grandson of Mrs Lavinia Gaunt, Peel Street, Pudsey; Leading Seaman Eric H. Pearce, aged 22, eldest son of Mr an Mrs H. Pearce, Hawkhill Croft, Guiseley, who was married last February; and Able Seaman George Watt, aged 28, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Percy Watt, Queen Street, Rawdon
