George William (Taffy) Morgan

Able Seaman

My Grandfather's name was James Higham, he was born on Jan 4 1918, and died on June 12 1980 of lung cancer. He was a stoker (stoker PO at some time) onboard HMS Repulse when she was sunk in 1941. He was picked-up by an Australian ship (This would have been HMAS Vampire). His best mate was Taffy Morgan, who died during the sinking.
Nothing more is known about Taffy, if you have any more information, please contact us.

Please contact Andy (webmaster) with any information.
