Edward was a member of 381 Kings Squad, he completed his Royal Marines training in June 1940.
He died when HMS Repulse was sunk.

Edward Lawrence Haysom, Royal Marine - lost on HMS Repulse. He was my Mothers brother.
He was the champion boxer of the Repulse.
He came from Kingston upon Hull in East Yorkshire. All of his brothers and sisters have now passed on and I would love to find some information on him. He was the only member of our family lost during the second world war.
