Albert was born on the 11th July 1915 at Chappel Chare, in Wingate Co. Durham

He was married to Henrietta Donbavand on 5th October 1940.

Albert was killed when HMS Repulse was sunk, on the 10th December 1941. He was 26 years old.


Henrietta (known as Etta) is still alive and living in Garstang. She never remarried. She was born on 28th August 1918 also in Wingate Co Durham. She is lovely.

Sadly we have to announce that Etta died early in 2007.
