Robert (Horace) Gosden

Signalman

Robert (Horace) Gosden, signalman on HMS Repulse, jumped overboard when the ship was sinking even though he couldn't swim. He was a POW for the remainder of the war. Sadly he died on 12 March 2002 aged 80.

He is mentioned in the book, Prisoner of Nippon, written by another FEPOW about their time at the hands of the Japanese after the sinking of Repulse.
Anyone with any info on my father, who never talked much about the war, gratefully received by his three daughters.
