My
Grandfather served on Repulse as a Petty Officer, from 30 August 1923 to
25 January 1926. He would have been serving during the World Tours of
1923-24, and 1925. I would be very interested to make further contact. I
have two photos of James Gamble CPO RN (1890-1965) in uniform, one from
1931 and another from 1939. He joined in January 1908, pensioned to
shore in 1932 but re-enlisted 1936, serving until August 1939 and then
for WWII. He died when I was two so I am just getting to know him
