His picture was taken from a group photograph of HMS Repulse crew members. It was found in a flea market in Kent by Steve Fielding. Nothing is yet known about Alfred W. Cox, no records of him exist in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. He may or may not have survived the war. He is not related to William Henry Cox of the Prince of Wales who Steve is researching.
