John Henry Clatworthy

John Henry Clatworthy was my uncle who served aboard HMS Repulse. We know that he survived the sinking and subsequently made it to Singapore where he became attached to HMS Sultan. He died aged 17 on 16/2/42 in the escape from Singapore. If anybody knows anything about him, or simply has any form of background information which would be of interest, I would be very grateful to hear from you. 

I would especially like to take this opportunity to thank both Alan Matthews and Jon Moffat for their invaluable help in filling in some of the details. The information they gave was of great interest to John's surviving brother and sisters, who had come to believe that they would never know anything of what happened to him.
