Thomas is alive and well and living in Ireland. He trained at Shotley, served on HMS Revenge for 6-9 months, then on HMS Repulse for 2 years until her sinking. Tommy, and Leading Telegraphist Bob Lee were the last to leave the wireless office. His immediate boss on the ship was Charlie? 'bonker' Hull, a Senior Leading Telegraphist, three badge Killick. Tommy spent some time reporting Japanese movements from the Kranji Wireless office at Singapore, before the Japanese got an RDF (radio direction finder) fix on the station and started attacks on it.
