Text of the above news clipping for Jack Allen: Telegrams from the Admiralty reveal that two Bradford men are among the survivors of the Repulse. Leading seaman Jack Allen, aged 26, of 23, Barmby Road, Undercliffe, Bradford. Leading seaman Allen is the son of Mr and Mrs F. Allen. He has been in the Navy for nearly eight years, and has served on the Revenge, the Norfolk and the Repulse.
