My Father is Christopher Caleb Rhodes, and he is a survivor of the sinking of HMS Prince of Wales, Able Seaman.
Date of birth 25.08.1920, he was on port 4 gun turret, cordite hoist and sick bay tiffy were his other duties, he was the last known stretcher case from HMS Prince of Wales to HMS Express, having been in the cinema flat helping the injured sailors, when the bomb came through. He is still alive and currently in a nursing home.

Sadly, Christopher passed away on 12th January 2004 after an illness.
