My late father served on HMS Prince of Wales as a Junior Officer, I am led to believe from commissioning to sinking. Although serving in the Australian Navy, he was attached to the British Navy and posted to HMS Prince of Wales. I know he was an Officer, his name is Charles, but he also used Barrymore as a christian name. I am told he enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy, and was sent to England for training. |

I would be grateful for any help that can be offered , as I am researching his war service. unfortunately, all his records and photos have disappeared, I can vaguely recall some photos of HMS Prince of Wales when I was too young to appreciate them.
