My wife's uncle served on HMS Prince of Wales and died when it was sunk. His name was John "Jackie" Mitchell. Able Seaman, D/JX 212002, Royal Navy. Sadly Jackie married his wife Patricia only 4 days before setting out to sea in 1941, and he didn't return. I am looking for any information, stories or photographs that might relate to Jackie, and any help would be greatly appreciated. |
