Ernest James Kearley

My Grandfather was a crew member on the Prince of Wales when it was attacked, he did survive the sinking but was captured and made a prisoner of the Japanese for almost four years.
He did eventually come home to his family but he unfortunately died in 1970, a year before I was born.

I have however been given some things of his including the few pieces of mail that he was allowed to send out of the P.O.W. camp.
