John Dunn died on 22nd June 1944 in Kinkaseki POW Camp Formosa (Taiwan), he is buried in Sai Wan War Cemetery Hong Kong Grave V11 F 26. He was exhumed and re-interred after the war. He is buried near my uncle
William Singleton, 88th Field Regiment Royal Artillery. They both died in a roof fall whilst working in the copper mine near the camp, slave labourers for the Emperor of Japan. I laid a wreath on each of their graves during my visit to Hong Kong last year. They were great mates according to a survivor of the camp Jack Edwards.
