My grandfather, William Henry Cox was a Leading Steward on Prince of Wales the day it was sunk and had quite an adventure before he was rescued, and escaped Singapore just before it fell. 

He was married to Bertha and had two daughters, Sheila and Beryl. They lived in St Budeaux, Plymouth. 

I am interested in finding more out, and would love to hear from anyone who can tell me more about him or HMS Prince of Wales.
