My father served in HMS
Prince of Wales and survived the sinking. He later served in HMS Stronghold and later as a prisoner of war under the Japanese in Macassar (island of Celebes) for three and a half years. He survived the war and passed away in November 1971. Yours sincerely David Norman Calvert. |
