When I was younger my late-grandfather told me about his brother - Marine David Wilson Boyd. As far as I
can remember his family had always believed him to have been killed (or missing in action) upon the sinking of HMS
Prince of Wales. From this site I have discovered he was last seen in February 1942 and is then classed as MIA. After the war rumours began at home here in Belfast that David was actually alive and well but the family have never been able to prove. Would anyone know of David and if so, be able to tell me more about him? Regards, John Hancock |
