My cousin, Eric Bowker was born on the 20th October 1925 in Topsham, Devon. He was the youngest son of Arthur Bowker and May, (nee Kingdon), Bowker. He was employed at Motor Mac's, Exeter after leaving school. He lived at No. 10 Ferry Road, Topsham, with his parents, before he joined the Navy. Eric was at HMS St George, Isle of Man in October 1940.
