Len Packman

Stoker

My Father Len Packman served as a Stoker on HMS Electra.
He was with her when she was sunk in the Java seas. Fortunately he was one of the lucky ones who was picked up by an American submarine and taken to Sumatra. From there he managed to get to Australia and was repatriated from there.
