I'm looking for anyone who may have known my dad - GEORGE ETTIE. 
George was born and raised in Gosport and joined the Royal Navy in 1926.

He served on HMS Emperor of India, Revenge, Nelson, Voyager, Vendetta, Campbell, Champion, Electra, Hero (Spanish Civil War), and Belfast (when she was mined in the Firth of Forth), along with numerous shore assignments including HMCS Avalon where he received the BEM. He was a Submarine Detector instructor.
